Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Update 1.006 – New PvP Map, Enemies, Cosmetics, and More!

by Ali Haider

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 just dropped its Update 1.006, and it’s packed with new stuff to keep players hooked well into 2025. The update adds a brand-new PvP map called “TOMB”—a creepy underground arena on Demerium with tight corridors and sneaky ambush spots that’ll force you into close, chaotic fights. For PvE fans, there’s a nasty new Tyranid enemy, the Biovore, which launches spore mines you’ll need to dodge or blow up before they swarm you.

But this update isn’t just about throwing new enemies and maps at you. The devs are clearly focused on keeping the community around for the long haul. You’ll find fresh cosmetics like the Salamanders Champion armor for Snipers and Raven Guard gear, including the slick MK VI “Corvus” helmet and matching trinkets. There’s also the Datavault system, which lets you unlock lore and rewards as you play. Other big changes include a perks overhaul, a PC FOV slider (finally!), the ability to share skins between PvE and PvP modes, and a toggle for PvP crossplay. All these tweaks show the team’s serious about supporting the game with regular, polished updates.
