Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is an upcoming action-role playing video game developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo. It is currently slated for release in early 2023 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Players can create their own player avatars and select one of five “phases” at the start of the game. There are two choices for close-range attacks in the game. Players must use their melee weapons to deflect attacks in order to succeed in battle because doing so will allow them to counter an opponent’s attacks. The “Morale rank” of each foe identifies how difficult the combat encounter will be. More valuable loot is dropped by more challenging enemies.

The players’ spirit gauge will gradually fill as they make close-ranged attacks. At some point, players can launch “spirit attacks,” which give them the ability to use unique combat skills or cast elemental spells. In addition, five “Divine Beasts”—the Qilin, Baihu, Qinglong, Zhuque, and Xuanwu—are available for players to select. These creatures can aid players in battle or grant them passive advantages through “Divine Beast Resonance.”
