The Heavy Ordnance update for World War Z is now live, introducing a wide range of new content and improvements for survivors. Heavy weapons receive perks for the first time, with a total of 24 added across fan favorites like the Chainsaw, Flamethrower, and RPG Launcher. In addition, standard weapons gain 12 new perks, three new custom portrait frames are available, and players can experiment with six fresh mutators to change the pace of Challenge Horde.
Two new premium DLC packs have also been released: the Vibrant Halloween Weapon Skin Pack and the Raging Phoenix Weapon Skin Pack, each offering themed cosmetics across multiple weapon types. Bug fixes and localization updates are included as well, ensuring a smoother experience for players on all platforms.

World War Z is a third-person shooter video game developed and published by Saber Interactive. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 16, 2019, with a Nintendo Switch version on November 2, 2021. The game launched on Google Stadia on April 5, 2022, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S ports on January 24, 2023. Loosely based on the 2006 novel World War Z and set in the same universe as the 2013 film adaptation, the game follows groups of four survivors of a zombie apocalypse.
