Saber Interactive has released a February 12, 2026 hotfix for the new The Walking Dead DLC in World War Z. The update targets additional issues affecting documents, objectives, localization, and overall stability.
This latest hotfix follows the recent crossover expansion launch and focuses on resolving crashes and gameplay inconsistencies across multiple chapters. Players experiencing issues in the new content should notice smoother performance after installing the update.

World War Z launched on April 16, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with later releases on Nintendo Switch in 2021 and native PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S versions in 2023. The World War Z x The Walking Dead crossover expansion released on January 29, 2026, followed by this February 12, 2026 hotfix addressing issues in the new DLC.
