The prior entry in the WWE 2K series, WWE 2K22, is a 2022 professional wrestling sports video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It is the ninth game released under the WWE 2K label, the twenty-second overall installment of the WWE video game franchise, and the follow-up to 2019’s WWE 2K20. It was released on March 11, 2022, for Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
MyRISE, the rebranded version of WWE 2K’s MyCareer, emphasized distinct stories for male and female wrestlers. Players can branch into subplots, form alliances, and make enemies with created characters based on their decisions. Players can relive the most memorable moments of Rey Mysterio’s WWE career with the return of 2K Showcase Mode as Showcase, which features Rey Mysterio as the cover star. Updates and new features are incorporated into the 2K Showcase mode.
As they advance, players can access new characters, outfits, and arenas. In contrast to earlier games, the gameplay of the Rey Mysterio and Dolph Ziggler match from SummerSlam 2009 at IGN Fan Fest 2022 used both in-game and archived audio to transition from in-game to real-time action. MyFACTION is a brand-new game mode that is available. Through regular updates and weekly events, players can collect, manage, and upgrade WWE wrestlers to create a wrestling stable.
