Microsoft has confirmed the next batch of titles leaving the subscription service, with eight games set to depart Xbox Game Pass leaving July 2026 on July 31.
The games leaving the library are:
- Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
- Whiskerwood (Game Preview)
- Crusader Kings III
- Sniper Elite: Resistance
- Back to the Dawn
- Celeste
- Rain World
- My Friendly Neighborhood
Among the biggest departures is Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, which joined Xbox Game Pass in February 2023 after its full release in October 2022. Crusader Kings III is also leaving after launching day one on PC Game Pass in 2020 before arriving on consoles in 2022.
Sniper Elite: Resistance, which debuted as a day-one Game Pass title in January 2025, will also exit the service alongside Back to the Dawn, another title that launched into the library on day one when its full version released in July 2025.
Platforming favourite Celeste is leaving after returning to Xbox Game Pass in August 2023, while Rain World, Whiskerwood (Game Preview) and My Friendly Neighborhood round out the list of games scheduled to be removed at the end of the month.
Subscribers who want to continue playing any of these titles after July 31 will need to purchase them separately once they leave the Game Pass catalogue.
