Popular Indie Hit Poised For Xbox Game Pass Debut in July 2024

Popular indie hit Neon White is set to arrive on Microsoft’s premium game subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, during July, 2024.

Xbox Achievements for Annapurna Interactive and Angel Matrix’s first-person shooter and puzzle-platforming game, Neon White, had recently appeared online, leading to speculation that the game may be headed to Microsoft’s premium game subscription service. Hours later, Twitter/X user eXtas1stv has claimed that Neon White is indeed headed to Xbox Game Pass in July, 2024, along with several other titles that have yet to be revealed.

Games Coming To Xbox Game Pass In July 2024

The currently rumored list of Xbox Game Pass Games for wave 1 of July, 2024 are as follows:

  • Tchia – Available July 11, 2024
  • Neon White – Available July 11, 2024

Allegedly featured in July’s Xbox Game Pass catalogue update is Neon White. It was released for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch on June 16, 2022, and for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on December 13, 2022. It is also being developed for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The game is designed around speedrunning, with players taking on the role of a Neon who must clear demons from each level as quickly as possible. Weapons are represented by playing cards, which can be discarded to perform special moves like double-jumping and dashing.

Meanwhile, Tchia is an action adventure game developed by Awaceb and published by Kepler Interactive. The player controls the main character, Tchia, as she explores a fictional archipelago inspired by New Caledonia. The game was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows on March 21, 2023, and for Nintendo Switch on June 27, 2024.The game is played from a third-person perspective. Players assume the role of Tchia, who explores a tropical archipelago in order to rescue her kidnapped father. Tchia can “soul jump,” allowing her to possess and control animals and inanimate objects in the world, using their abilities to travel to new areas, solve puzzles, and defend against enemies.
