IO Interactive has announced that 007 First Light has reached 3 million wishlists, signaling strong early interest in the upcoming James Bond title. The milestone was shared through the game’s official X account.

007 First Light is a third-person action-adventure game developed and published by IO Interactive. It is scheduled to launch on May 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version planned for later in the summer.
The game presents a reimagined origin story for James Bond, centering on a 26 year old recruit portrayed by Patrick Gibson. The narrative follows Bond’s early involvement in a revived 00 program, where he faces a rogue agent known as 009 across multiple international locations.
Gameplay blends social stealth elements with action-focused sequences, allowing players to approach objectives through gadgets or more direct methods. The supporting cast includes Gemma Chan, Lennie James, and Lenny Kravitz, contributing to a story that aims to expand the Bond universe in a new direction.
