Alan Wake 2 Update 1.10 Fixes Some Game Breaking Bugs, Resolves 100+ Issues

Alan Wake 2 update 1.10 is out now for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series S|X. It aims to resolve numerous issues since the last update as seen in the patch notes.

The update introduces general bug fixes and additional polish to enhance the gameplay experience. It resolves multiple localization issues and fixes banding in certain cinematics. The Taken Diver enemy has been rebalanced to pose a greater threat to players. Missing German and Spanish voice-over lines have been added. The drop rates for ammo and health items in the Cynthia boss fight have been increased. The Nightingale boss fight in Normal mode has been rebalanced, making player weapons more effective. The HDR toggle in the brightness calibration UI now functions correctly.

An issue with audio missing or cutting out for the Xbox Series has been addressed. On PlayStation 5, rare instances of the game crashing when using Share Play have been fixed, along with several incorrect audio states towards the game’s end.

    • Corrected timing for the Kalevala workshop clue.
    • Fixed an elusive Manuscript page.
  • We Sing:
    • Cursor now appears correctly on the Plot board.
  • Old Gods:
    • Resolved issues with the key fob from Rose and triggering calls from Tor.
  • Room 665:
    • Fixed player getting stuck in the Break Room.
    • Ensured Echo respawns if the video isn’t watched to the end.
  • Scratch:
    • Addressed issues with talking to FBC agent Estevez.
  • Zane’s Film:
    • Tim Breaker’s map now reveals the Word of Power location correctly.
