Among Us Rated For PS4 and PS5 In Taiwan Ahead of PlayStation Showcase

Among Us has been rated for the PS4 and PS5 in Taiwan. This comes ahead of the PlayStation Showcase so it could be a surprise announcement.

The game was announced earlier this year and was confirmed to arrive for the PS4 and PS5 later in 2021. It doesn’t have a release date, but the rating in Taiwan does point towards one either being announced soon, or the game could be possibly one of the announcements during the PlayStation Showcase.

Among Us is already available on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile. The game is relatively cheap though and after gaining worldwide recognition and becoming a cultural phenomenon, it has sold millions of copies.

Among Us was announced for the PlayStation consoles with an official blog post. While the announcement trailer didn’t showcase the new content, it was teased that PlayStation consoles might get costumes based on IPs like Ratchet and Clank.

Prepare for departure, but beware the Impostor! Complete tasks to hold your spaceship together and return to civilization, but keep an eye out as one or more random players among the crew are Impostors determined to sabotage the ship and kill everyone.

It’s up to the remaining humans to finish their tasks and identify the Impostors to eject them into the abyss. But watch out! The Impostors will use every trick in the book to convince everyone they’re a crewmate, so don’t believe everything you hear. Get your alibi straight or else you might be the one wrongfully ejected!

Online cross-play enabled, play with 4-15 other players across PC, mobile and other consoles.

Among Us will be released later this year for PS4 and PS5 and will support cross-play with other consoles and PC.
