Black Myth: Wukong has dazzled the world with its stylish gameplay and art style. The art director on the project has now shared some early concept art.
Black Myth: Wukong is an action RPG that is currently announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It was first seen with a trailer that showcased its combat with roughly 13 minutes of gameplay footage. The game is being developed on the latest iteration of Unreal Engine and looks incredible in motion.

After the trailer was well-received on social media, and the project is slowly getting a drip-feed of new information from the developers. The most recent update is from the art director who has shared a set of new concept art from the game on his Art Station profile.
“At the beginning of the project, I tried to quickly create a batch of concepts to describe the mood and style of the game, from micro to macro, and clip them into a video with music. Here are some of them, ” wrote the art director.

This game has been described as a soul-like with the story taking inspiration from a classic Chinese story: Journey to the West. This project still doesn’t have an official release date as of yet. The developers have stated in the past that they are still a long way off from the release of the game, so it is likely going to take a while before this one comes to fruition, and possibly jump to next-generation consoles while ditching the current one.
