The size of this patch is just under 100 MB on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It barely registers against the day one patch that we have reported earlier. This patch should be available to download for those who have purchased a retail copy of the game while it is already available with the pre-load for digital copies.

FIFA 21 also offers a free upgrade to the next-generation consoles with the Dual Entitlement program offered by EA Sports. This applies to both the digital and retail versions of the game. This is different compared to other games like Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War or NBA 2K21, which offer a slightly expensive version in order to claim a PS5 or Xbox Series X upgrade.

FIFA 21 was released on October 6th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
