Red Dead Redemption 2 Update 1.24 Is Out, Here Are The Patch Notes

Rockstar Games has updated Red Dead Redemption 2 to version 1.24 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Here’s everything in this update including patch notes.

Most of the fixes in this update are for stability. There is a fix for crashes that were reported in the Story Mode and Red Dead Online. Rockstar Games has also fixed an issue that resulted in the error 0x99220000 and prevented players from starting Red Dead Online.

Stability Improvements

  • Fixed several reported crashes and stability issues impacting gameplay in Story Mode and Red Dead Online
  • Fixed an issue that prevented some players from entering Red Dead Online resulting in the error 0x99220000

Stability Issues (PC)

  • Fixed an issue that resulted in a crash when launching the game due to a corrupted key bind mapping file
  • Fixed an issue that resulted in a crash when launching the game using DirectX 12 on some versions of Windows 7/8

Red Dead Redemption 2 was first released for the PS4 and Xbox One in 2018 followed by a release on PC in 2019. While Grand Theft Auto V will get an enhanced release on PS5 and Xbox Series X, Rockstar Games hasn’t addressed a similar update for Red Dead Redemption 2.
