Star Wars Episode IX title has been revealed as The Rise of Skywalker. Here is our first look at this upcoming movie which will be the last one in the modern Star Wars trilogy.
Star Wars Episode IX is being directed by J. J. Abrams who is back to lead the new Star Wars movie after Episode VII. He will be taking place of Colin Trevorrow, who was supposed to deliver the last Star Wars movie before J. J. Abrams.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will bring back many familiar faces including Leia. The movie was shot after the death of Carrie Fisher so it remains to be seen how the director will handle her scenes, whether with CGI or using old footage.
The title of Star Wars Episode IX is confirmed to be The Rise of Skywalker. It explains that this is the last movie in the Skywalker trilogy which is what the original plan was for Disney and Lucas Films. The tagline for the trailer is “Every generation has a legend, ” which likely refers to Rey played by Daisy Ridley in the movie.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be out in theatres later in December. It stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, and Domhnall Gleeson. It is co-written by J. J Abrams who is also directing the movie and producing it with his production house Bad Robots in collaboration with Disney and Lucas Films.
