The Outer Worlds will get its second expansion, Murder on Eridanos, later in March. Take-Two Interactive confirmed the release date in a conference call.
The Outer Worlds was a brand new first-person RPG from Obsidian Entertainment that was published by Private Division under Take-Two Interactive. The game launched on Xbox Game Pass in addition to PS4 and PC. It was later ported to the Nintendo Switch.
The Outer Worlds’ first expansion was Peril on Gorgon and it is now being followed by the second expansion that is confirmed to launch at the end of March.
According to Take-Two Interactive, in their earnings call for the quarter ending December 31, the second DLC expansion Murder on Eridanos will be released by the end of March. This means it can be out before April 2021.
Take-Two Interactive has also confirmed the release of The Outer Worlds DLC for the Nintendo Switch. While the Nintendo Switch received a late port for the game, it didn’t get any of the DLC. Once these are out on the other platforms, the developers are planning to port them to the Nintendo Switch.
