ARC Raiders Details Fourth Expedition Rewards Update

by Greg Martin

Embark Studios has shared new details on the Fourth Expedition coming to ARC Raiders, introducing an updated reward structure, a new cosmetic outfit, and additional progression changes for veteran players.

The next Expedition window will run from July 7 at 11:00 UTC until July 21 at 08:00 UTC. During that period, players must sign up for the Expedition and complete its challenge to earn the available rewards. As with previous Expeditions, completing the Caravan alone is not enough to participate, although the “last call” feature will once again be available for anyone who misses the sign-up window.

The biggest change in the Fourth Expedition is a revised reward system. Players completing their fourth Expedition will no longer receive Skill Points from the Expedition Challenge. Instead, they’ll earn Blueprints and Raider Tokens, which Embark says are intended to help players prepare for future Topside adventures while offering more cosmetic options.

Rewards are determined by the total amount of damage dealt before the Expedition departs on July 21. Players can unlock up to five bonus rewards by reaching damage milestones of 5,000, 10,000, 30,000, 50,000, and 100,000 damage.

Each completed reward tier grants 1 Blueprint and 150 Raider Tokens. While Raider Tokens are permanent, Blueprints are temporary and reset when players depart on their next Expedition. Duplicate protection applies to Blueprint rewards earned through the Expedition, although it does not cover Blueprints already stored in Ermal’s Vault.

The Blueprint reward pool includes a wide range of weapon, attachment and augment blueprints, such as the Venator, Osprey, Trailblazer, Hullcracker, Aphelion, Wolfpack, Powered Descender, and several Mk 3 Augments.

Players completing their fourth Expedition will also unlock the first stage of the new Zenith Outfit, replacing the now-completed Patchwork Outfit progression.

Additional permanent progression bonuses continue as well. Completing the Fourth Expedition increases stash capacity by 12 slots, bringing the total bonus to 48 extra slots, with the maximum increasing to 60 after the fifth Expedition.

Embark also confirmed that consecutive Expedition buffs remain unchanged. Players who complete Expeditions back-to-back can continue benefiting from bonuses to experience gains, Scrappy material rewards and repair values, although these boosts remain capped after three consecutive Expeditions.

The developer noted that Skill Point catch-up remains available for players on their second, third or fourth Expedition, up to the existing cap of 15 bonus Skill Points. However, the new Blueprint and Raider Token rewards do not include a catch-up system.

Alongside the Fourth Expedition, a new Trials Season will begin when the Expedition window opens on July 7.

Embark acknowledged feedback from newer players who are joining Expeditions later than long-time players, saying it is continuing to explore ways to better balance progression between veterans and newcomers while preserving rewards for players who have consistently participated in Expeditions.
