Embark Studios has released ARC Raiders Update 1.33.0, introducing the new Forgotten Relics event alongside the Converging Paths community project. Players can earn Merits through gameplay and relic extraction to unlock rewards, cosmetics, weapons, and Raider Tokens.
The update also delivers a wide range of gameplay fixes, audio improvements, UI enhancements, anti-cheat measures, and balance adjustments. In addition, free loadouts have been temporarily disabled for specific map conditions as part of an ongoing test.

New Events
Forgotten Relics Event
- Earn Merits automatically through XP gained while playing on any map.
- Use Merits to unlock rewards including gameplay items, weapons, and Raider Tokens.
- Find relics hidden throughout the world in lockers, drawers, crates, and other containers.
- Successfully extract with relics to claim their Merit value.
- Unlock the Saltwalker Outfit, outfit toggles, and additional rewards through event progression.
- Contribute earned Merits toward progress in the Converging Paths project.
Converging Paths Project
- Available from June 16 through July 27.
- Complete objectives focused on securing safe passage, gathering supplies, and recovering relics.
- Advance a Display Case showcasing recovered relics.
- Earn the Red-Black Saltwalker Outfit variant, a Sextant backpack charm, and Raider Tokens.
- Increase total earnable Raider Tokens this season to 300.
Balance Changes
- Disabled free loadouts for Night Raid and Close Scrutiny map conditions.
- Increased risk-versus-reward requirements for higher-loot scenarios.
- Planned as a three-week test period while player feedback is evaluated.
Gameplay Fixes
General
- Corrected aiming-down-sights issues that affected weapon accuracy.
- Fixed rare cases where quest objectives could activate out of sequence.
- Updated expedition damage tracking to exclude squad member damage.
- Prevented players from occasionally falling through the map when stepping on Fireballs and Pop parts.
Animation
- Fixed brief T-pose occurrences after sprint Dodge Rolls.
- Corrected weapon detachment issues when switching weapons after vaulting.
- Restored proper equip and unequip animations after vaulting.
- Fixed stretching issues on the Sandveil outfit around the neck and shoulders.
ARC Enemies
- Rocketeer enemies now drop Launcher Ammo instead of Heavy Ammo.
- Fixed Firefly enemies occasionally dropping incendiary grenades without being destroyed.
- Improved Queen and Matriarch navigation on varied terrain and moving surfaces.
Audio Improvements
- Fixed extraction announcements not playing correctly.
- Fixed missing dismantle audio for Barricade Kits.
- Improved Raider Cache audio cues for easier discovery.
- Adjusted footstep audio across multiple movement states.
- Increased metal slide audio volume for clearer movement feedback.
Map Fixes
- Prevented players from falling through the map near the Pilgrim’s Peak building wall.
Social Updates
- Friends added outside the game now correctly update their in-game presence when they own ARC Raiders.
UI and Quality-of-Life Improvements
- Corrected stack size displays in Ermal’s offers.
- Added inventory action shortcuts for Sell, Recycle, Repair, Salvage, and Drop.
- Fixed incorrect weapon selection when upgrading weapons in large inventories.
- Fixed inaccurate expedition damage display values.
- Updated Free Loadout inventory space warnings.
- Fixed stash overflow issues when merging item stacks.
- Prevented loadouts from being cleared before playing a round.
- Free Loadout inventories now display correctly when readied.
- Fixed health and armor bar jitter during healing.
- Opening the console menu on PlayStation 5 and Xbox during matchmaking no longer cancels matchmaking.
- Map Condition countdowns now only appear 60 minutes before activation.
Utility Fixes
- Knocked-out players no longer stop Barricade Kits from expanding after deployment.
- Fixed Tactical Mk.3 Healing augment reviving downed players through its healing cloud.
Anti-Cheat Updates
- Expanded Denuvo Anti-Cheat deployment to additional players.
- Continued efforts to detect and prevent item duplication.
- Added Action Notice inbox messages when reported cheaters are banned.
- Added Loot Compensation messages that automatically return lost loot from confirmed cheaters.
- Players may receive both notifications when applicable.
Known Issues
- Some PC players may experience lower-than-normal FPS.
- Some Xbox players, particularly on Xbox Series S, may encounter crashes.
- Quick Wheel behavior issues remain under investigation.
- Several weapons and gadgets continue to exhibit known functionality issues.
- Various animation, collision, audio, and interaction bugs are being investigated.
- Shots fired while riding ARC may not always register correctly.
- Certain Augments may not pause health restoration after a player is revived and takes damage.
