Bandai Namco and From Software’s Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is already among the top selling pre-orders on PSN and Steam.

Soon after pre-orders went up on PSN and Steam, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon quickly made its way to the best selling pre-orders list on PSN and the global top sellers list on Steam, suggesting that it is one of the most anticipated titles of the year. On PSN, it appears to be the most pre-ordered game after Diablo IV and Final Fantasy XVI.

This doesn’t come as particularly surprising, given the reputation developer From Software has established among fans, especially after the massive success of Elden Ring. Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is expected to gain further traction as it approaches its release on August 25, 2023.

Previously, it was revealed that Armored Core VI, will feature multiple endings and in-depth customization. The PlayStation Blog had shared new information on Armored Core VI, including details regarding the game featuring multiple endings as well as in-depth customization options. Additionally, it had been revealed that the gameplay is different from that of the Souls games albeit with the same smooth and responsive controls that fans have come to expect from From Software’s games.

Much like in other From Software games, players won’t just want to return to the frontlines to perfect their combat skills. There will be multiple narrative endings in Armored Core VI, and new paths will open up on subsequent playthroughs, giving players plenty of incentive to explore the world and story in-depth.

A focal aspect of the Armored Core experience is customization. Players can enhance and adjust the power of their AC using a variety of parts. You’ll have plenty of room to play around with different weapon loadouts, thanks to the four weapon holding slots – one in each hand and two on the back. This includes all-time favorites, such as bazookas, gatling guns, split missiles, plasma rifles, etc.
