Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered Comparison Trailer, Releasing On March 29

Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered has received an official comparison trailer from Ubisoft revealing the difference between the original game and the newly remastered visuals for PS4 and Xbox One.

Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered release date was leaked through a retailer listing and this was spot on since the comparison trailer has confirmed it is launching on March 29, the same date which was leaked earlier.

Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered will also include all of the post-launch DLC and the spin-off, Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered. It is a part of the Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey but will launch separately for retail as well.

The game features enhanced visuals that are suitable for 4K resolution and offers gameplay improvements. Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed what kind of improvements will be available for Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered but expect quality-of-life changes that are usually made when remastering an old game.

The most noticeable improvement for the Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered version is the lighting engine. It appears that Ubisoft has completely revamped it giving the game a more modern look. The new lighting engine helps set up the mood for some of the environments and should improve the overall presentation nicely.

Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered will also feature improved textures along with the resolution and lighting upgrades. You can get it for free if you have bought the Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, or buy it separately when it launches on March 29, 2019.
