An early look at Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has surfaced online following the leak of a short trailer, offering the first glimpse at the remake’s updated visuals. The clip, which runs for approximately 11 seconds, provides a brief comparison between the original 2013 release and the upcoming version.
Side by side images circulating alongside the leak highlight changes in lighting, detail, and scene composition. The comparison suggests Ubisoft has adjusted certain sequences, with an added scoped-in shot of a ship that was not present in the original cutscene.
In addition to the visual comparison, there are indications of promotional plans tied to the upcoming showcase. A streamer appears to have revealed a Twitch Drops reward, suggesting that players who watch 20 minutes of the presentation may receive an in-game item referred to as the Rufino pistol. Ubisoft has not officially confirmed this detail.
The leak arrives shortly before the game’s scheduled reveal. Ubisoft previously confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will be shown in full during a dedicated showcase on April 23 at 6:00 PM CEST and 9:00 AM PDT, with broadcasts planned across YouTube and Twitch.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is positioned as a reworked version of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, incorporating updated visuals and possible new content. Further details are expected once the official showcase takes place.
