Atlus Rumored To Launch Annual Persona Projects, Including Persona 3 Remake & Persona 6

Atlus is rumored to release new Persona titles in the next couple of years, including its upcoming projects, namely the Persona 3 remake and Persona 6.

According to Reset Era member Im A Hero Too, who has shared details regarding the development of Persona 6 in the past, the next couple years will be “heavy” on Persona titles, so much that he’s “sick” of hearing about the series.

The Reset Era member stated that the Persona 3 remake will arrive in store shelves before Persona 6. He also hinted at the possibility of a trailer for the Persona 3 remake arriving by the end of May, 2023. Regarding Persona 6, he said that it is a bigger project in comparison to Persona 5, and that it’s also very “unique”. Therefore, according to Im A Hero Too, Atlus is likely taking its time with its development and waiting until it is ready to be shown to the public. He added that the studio working on Persona 6 not a huge development team. He expects the game to be released sometime in the year 2025.

Besides the Persona 3 remake and Persona 6, Im A Hero Too also mentioned another entry in the series that is set for release next year. He said that he’s still shocked that no one had leaked it yet. He refrained from providing any further details, however. It is speculated that the game is a Persona 5 spinoff starring Akechi.

Recently, a domain registration that appeared to be for the Persona 3 remake suggested that the game may be close to getting an official announcement in the near future. A mysterious domain for the web address “p3re.jp” was registered on March 15, 2023, suggesting that the rumored Persona 3 remake may be close to receiving an official announcement from Sega and Atlus.

Earlier on, another Reset Era member, who had leaked the arrival of Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal on Xbox Game Pass last year as well as the release of Taiko no Tatsujin on Xbox months before an official announcement, stated that the Persona 3 remake will be similar to Persona 5, both in terms of visuals and aesthetics as well as Quality of Life additions.
