KOEI TECMO and Omega Force have officially announced Attack on Titan 3, a new action game based on Hajime Isayama’s acclaimed manga and anime series. Revealed during Summer Game Fest 2026, the upcoming title is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Described as the culmination of Omega Force’s Attack on Titan game series, the new entry will allow players to experience the complete story of Attack on Titan for the first time in a single game. The developers say the title will cover the narrative from the earliest days of the Survey Corps through to the series’ dramatic conclusion, giving fans the opportunity to relive the entire saga from beginning to end.
A newly released reveal trailer offers a first glimpse at the game and its updated combat systems. As with previous entries, players will battle the towering Titans using omni-directional mobility gear, but Omega Force says the system has received significant improvements. The enhanced mechanics are designed to deliver faster, more acrobatic combat encounters while emphasizing the scale and intensity of the series’ signature battles.
In addition to recreating major moments from the anime and manga, Attack on Titan 3 will feature new story content that expands on the characters and lore of the franchise. Players will also confront the Nine Titans throughout the campaign as they progress through key events from the story.
The announcement marks the return of Omega Force’s adaptation of the popular series after several years, with the studio aiming to deliver its most comprehensive Attack on Titan experience yet. The combination of the complete storyline, upgraded movement systems, and additional narrative content positions the game as a definitive adaptation of the franchise.
More information about Attack on Titan 3 will be shared during an official worldwide livestream scheduled for July 1, 2026. The broadcast will feature special guests Yui Ishikawa, the Japanese voice actress for Mikasa Ackerman, and Shiori Mikami, who voices Krista Lenz in the anime series.
Fans attending Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles will also have an opportunity to get an early look at the game. The latest trailer will be showcased at the AmiAmi exhibitor booth during the event, which runs from July 2 through July 5.
