Game Freak and publisher Fictions have announced that Beast of Reincarnation is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The action RPG is also included with Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series X|S and Windows players.

To mark the launch, the developers have released a new trailer showcasing the game’s blend of fast-paced combat, exploration and story-driven adventure. Set in a post-apocalyptic version of Japan, the game follows Emma and her loyal companion, Koo, as they travel through a world devastated by a mysterious blight while searching for the truth behind their fate.

Described as a “one-person, one-dog action RPG”, Beast of Reincarnation centres on Emma, an outcast known as a Blightborn who has lost both her memories and emotions. Accompanying her throughout the adventure is Koo, a Blight Hound whose bond with Emma grows stronger as the pair overcome increasingly dangerous challenges together.

Players will explore a constantly changing world where forests can suddenly emerge from desolate wastelands, creating new environments to navigate. As Emma and Koo continue their journey, their growing partnership unlocks new abilities that help them survive the harsh landscape and confront the threats created by the spreading blight.

Game Freak says the adventure combines rewarding exploration with action-focused combat while placing a strong emphasis on the relationship between its two protagonists and the emotional journey they share.

Beast of Reincarnation is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for $59.99, and is also included with Xbox Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S and Windows.
