The release date for the Xbox Game Pass version of Activision’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and the global console launch date for Riot Games’ Valorant have been revealed, based on the latest rumor.
Spanish insider eXtas1stv took to Twitter/X to reveal the release date for the Xbox Game Pass version of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and the global console launch date for Valorant. They claim to have confirmed with 100% certainty that the arrival of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox Game Pass for PC and Console is set to happen on July 24, 2024. However, this does not include availability via Cloud.
Furthermore, the insider shared that the ongoing beta for the console version of Valorant will come to an end on July 26, 2024, and the game’s global launch will begin. Those who have been playing the game via the beta client may be required to download the official version from the PlayStation and Xbox stores.
It’s worth highlighting that since Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 isn’t a brand new day one release, it will be available on all Xbox Game Pass subscription tiers from the get-go once it is added to the game catalog. Its also worth reminding subscribers that they can install games digitally on their console via the Xbox phone app even if they don’t yet have access to them. Given the download size, it’s probably a good idea to have the game installed before it is added to the subscription’s game catalog.
The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 installation requires a massive 305.15 GB of storage space on Xbox consoles. As such, those who have limited space available on their console’s internal storage drive are advised to make room in advance. It goes without saying that storage expansion options are available on Microsoft’s current-gen platforms for those who need them.
