Activision’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will mark the return of the Ninja perk as well as the War mode from Call of Duty World War II, based on the latest leak.

In addition to the return of the Ninja perk and the War mode from Call of Duty World War II, the leak states that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will feature a UI that looks similar to current UI in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. In addition, perks will be categorized into different pieces of “gear”, such as gloves, helmet, boots etc. Furthermore, the mini map will represent opponent players as red dots.

The previous entry in the Call of Duty Modern Warfare series, Modern Warfare 2, is a 2022 first-person shooter developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It serves as a sequel to the rebooted Modern Warfare released in 2019. It was released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 28, 2022.

Similar to its predecessor, the game is set in a realistic and modern environment. Players take on a campaign that revolves around Task Force 141, an international special operations unit, and the Mexican Special Forces unit known as Los Vaqueros. Together, they undertake a mission to locate and apprehend Hassan Zyani, a high-ranking member of the Iranian Quds Force and a notorious terrorist. Zyani has gained possession of American-made ballistic missiles, posing a significant threat.

Modern Warfare II runs on an upgraded version of the IW engine. The game not only supports cross-platform multiplayer, allowing players from different platforms to compete against each other, but it also introduces Warzone 2.0, the successor to the original free-to-play battle royale mode.
