Activision has announced the multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Here’s when the servers will go live and when you should be able to join it.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare attempts to satisfy everyone by offering all the different kinds of multiplayer. There is a new close-quarters Gun Fight mode and a large-scale massive 100-player Ground War mode. Players can also play different multiplayer modes that are expected from a traditional Call of Duty game that offers 10-on-10 or 20-on-20 player matches.
Activision and Infinity Ward have announced the launch date for the open beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in addition to the early access. These will be available first on PS4 and then come to other platforms at a later date.
PlayStation 4 exclusive beta is divided into two categories and those who own the PS4 version should be able to participate in the beta test a couple of different times.
The first early access beta will arrive on September 12 to 13 while the open beta will drop on September 14 to 16.
Activision has also confirmed cross-play between PC and Consoles. This is one of the rare games which is supporting this choice at launch. This means that PC owners can play together with both consoles and the same for PS4 and Xbox One. Users will be given the choice to play with either keyboard or mouse players or just controllers. They can pick and start matchmaking depending on their preference.
To get early access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer, you will need to pre-order the game. Activision has also released a multiplayer trailer for Modern Warfare showcasing the new gameplay modes in detail. The full game is expected to arrive on October 25, 2019.
