PS Plus users who have an active subscription in Asia or Japan can now see the free games that will be available starting next month. It is slightly different from the PS Plus lineup for Europe and North America.
Sony had announced the PS Plus August 2019 lineup for Europe and America just a few days ago. This includes Sniper Elite 4 and Wipeout Omega Collection. Today, we now know which games are releasing for PlayStation Plus subscribers in Asia and Japan as well.
Wipeout Omega Collection appears to be one of the games that will launch in all of the regions. Sniper Elite 4 is the one getting the cut here. For PlayStation Subscribers in Asia, the game that is replacing it is Chronicles of Teddy: Harmony of Exidus. For those in Japan, they will enjoy the indie hit Aegis Defenders.
There will be some additional content as usual. PlayStation Plus Exclusive Toro and Friends Summer Dynamic Theme will be available for subscribers in Asia. This will be available along with the games from August 7th until September 3rd.
The price of the PlayStation Plus subscription is also usually different between the regions. It is cheaper in some regions while expensive in others. It is still required to play online multiplayer so aside from the perks of free games, users can also enjoy discounts, demos, beta tests, and more.
