Crimson Desert Enhanced Update 2.00.00 adds new cutscenes, story moments, knowledge, items, memory fragments, dialogue, and conversations designed to improve the main story and boss narratives. The update also adds five new voice languages and Arabic as a new game language.
The patch introduces the Abyss Link skill resource, character-specific skill progression resets, eight new skills for Kliff, and the ability to carry Abyss Links and other in-game currency into a new game after completing all main quests. Numerous fixes also address combat, controls, quests, crafting, UI, localisation, and other issues.

Story and Language
- Improved the narrative flow of the main story.
- Added new knowledge, items, memory fragments, dialogue lines, and conversations to strengthen boss narratives.

Skill System
- Added Abyss Link as a new skill-learning resource.
- When a character uses Abyss Artifacts to learn a skill, an equivalent number of Abyss Links is granted to other playable characters.
- Changed skill progression so it can be reset individually for each character instead of resetting all characters at once.
- Each character can use their own Abyss Links to learn skills.
- Refunded Abyss Links used by an individual character when skill progression is reset.
- Reset all existing skill progression the first time the game is launched after the update.
- Refunded resources previously used for skill progression, including Abyss Artifacts, following the initial reset.
- Added a feature allowing Abyss Links and other in-game currency to be carried over from an existing save when starting a new game.
- The feature becomes available after completing all main quests.
- Added eight new skills for Kliff.
- The new skills become available after reaching a certain point in the main story.
Content Improvements and Fixes
- Fixed an issue where items were not crafted properly at the Kilnden Workshop.
- Fixed an issue where Blackstar could be ridden without a cooldown in certain situations.
- Fixed an issue where players could be sent to prison at Calphadean Castle after being captured as a wanted criminal in Calphade while the region was at war.
- Added Double Jump as a reward from Bilwise during the Unexpected Gift quest.
Controls
- Added the Flying Mount Controls option under Others and Input.
- Added Camera and Manual control options.
- Camera mode makes flying mounts move in the direction the camera is facing.
- Manual mode prevents flying mounts from following the camera direction and allows ascending and descending through other inputs.
Combat and Action
- Reduced damage received by characters accompanying the player.
- Fixed an issue where Axiom Force could not be used while flying in safe zones.
- Fixed an issue where the player could take damage when The Forgotten General’s phantom knight spawned nearby.
- Fixed an issue where the ricochet shot effect of Strongbow Gloves was not applied when firing special arrows.
- Fixed an issue where Nature’s Grasp could throw a character in a different direction from the throwing animation.
- Separated the battle against Golden Star into distinct phases.
- Added phase-specific attack patterns to the Golden Star battle.
UI
- Fixed an issue where the Contribution UI could occasionally fail to disappear during gameplay.
- Fixed an issue where certain skill knowledge appeared in the notifications tab.
Localization
- Fixed various localisation errors.
- Improved localisation quality across all languages.
Other Fixes and Improvements
- Fixed an issue where memory images appeared slowly when shining the lantern on memory fragments.
- Fixed an issue where the guide message did not disappear after acquiring a memory fragment using Blinding Flash in Chapter 2.
- Fixed an issue where Damiane could use Shield Toss while falling.
- Fixed an issue where the musket remained visible on the player’s back during minigames such as Duo when equipped.
- Fixed an issue where the Spectre Knight summoned by the Spirit’s Judgment Abyss Gear could be hit by projectiles.
- Fixed an issue where players were not dismounted after falling from heights while mounted under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where trade goods could not be moved to horse inventory at the stable.
- Improved images for certain quests and knowledge.
- Fixed an issue where puzzle hints could be obscured by tree roots.
- Fixed an issue where certain outfits appeared unnatural.
- Fixed an issue where the crane could break when firing an element-imbued bow at its iron chains during the House Roberts, Estate in Dismay, Sealed in Stone, Extract the Buried Relic mission.
- Added the ability to donate Demenissian Chainsaws as camp weapons.
- Fixed issues where certain terrain and objects appeared unnatural.
- Improved Chapter 9’s Mysterious Voice guide cutscene.
- Players can now restart if Woosa or Maegu dies.
