The release of the expansion to CD Projekt’s Cyberpunk 2077, titled Phantom Liberty, may happen sometime in June, 2023.

To support their claim, they pointed out that Boris was extended an invitation by several individuals from CDPR to attend the Summer Game Fest, where they would showcase and provide journalists with the opportunity to play Phantom Liberty. According to Boris’ sources within CD Projekt, an internal release date for the expansion has been scheduled for June, 2023.

During Boris’ interactions with various CDPR personnel at events such as Digital Dragons and Poznan Game Arena, it became evident to him that the development progress of Phantom Liberty is proceeding exceptionally well. Several members of the development team and other Polish game developers have independently confirmed to Boris that the expansion will see the light of day one month after the release date announcement.

Previously, details regarding a quest featured in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion were apparently revealed. A video showing what appeared to be details for a quest featured in the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion had emerged. Based on the footage, the journal section includes information regarding a DLC main mission, titled Casino Warfare. The quest appears to involve Alt Cunningham, Falco, and Night Corp.

While the quest details may be placeholder data, the quest name certainly sounds intriguing. Cyberpunk 2077 features a casino just outside the map border that players never got the chance to visit, as it is outside the bounds of the playable region. It is also featured in advertisements on in-game billboards as well as in a promotional book about Night City. As such, there is some evidence to support this leak. Additionally, the DLC is given the placeholder name of pl66, which, presumably, partly stands for Phantom Liberty. What the numbers ’66’ mean is anyone’s guess.
