Details regarding the review embargo for CD Projekt’s upcoming expansion to Cyberpunk 2077, titled Phantom Liberty, as well as its download size, have been revealed.
It has been revealed that the review embargo for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is expected to be lifted next week on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, nearly a week ahead of the expansion’s release on September 26, 2023. In addition, update 2.0 for owners of the base game will be rolled out on September 21, 2023.

Those who have pre-ordered a digital copy of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty can pre-load the game on PS5 starting September 24, 2023. The digital pre-load should come with the latest update pre-installed, although a day one update may be rolled out closer to the game’s launch. Additionally, the combined download size for the base game and expansion on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S is 80.43 GB. Meanwhile, those who have physical copies of Cyberpunk 2077 have the option to purchase the Phantom Liberty expansion digitally.
Previously, it was reported that Cyberpunk 2077 is all set to receive ray traced reflections on both PS5 and Xbox Series X with update 2.0.
