Cyberpunk 2077 Takemura Call Stuck Glitch Fix Shared by CD Projekt Red
CD Projekt Red has shared a potential workaround for the Cyberpunk 2077 Takemura call glitch while they are working on a hotfix for it.
Cyberpunk 2077 players were reporting how the game introduced a new glitch after the release of the latest patch. While the improvements to the performance itself are negligible, this glitch led to the loss of important story progression.
CD Projekt Red has now addressed this issue officially and confirmed that they are working on getting a hotfix out as soon as possible. This hotfix should resolve some of the issues that were introduced after the new update.
Cyberpunk 2077 Takemura Glitch Fix: How To Get Past “Down on the Street” Quest
According to the official account of the game, this is the current workaround for getting past this glitch.
- Load a gamesave before Takemura and V leave Wakako’s office.
- Finish the conversation with Takemura outside the office right away
- Right after the finished conversation and when the quest was updated, skip 23h.
- See if the holocall triggers and the dialogue with Takemura starts
Despite this being an official workaround, it still requires the player to have an earlier save which means if you don’t have one right now, you have no choice but to wait for a patch that can resolve this issue.
