Dead or Alive 6 sales have reached a major milestone, with Koei Tecmo announcing that the fighting game series has surpassed 1 million units sold worldwide.
Koei Tecmo Europe confirmed the milestone in a post on social media, where the publisher also outlined its plans for continued support of Dead or Alive 6 Last Round.
“The ‘DEAD OR ALIVE 6’ series has surpassed one million units sold worldwide,” the company said. “#DOA6LR is scheduled to receive regular updates, expansion features, and new content releases moving forward. We look forward to your continued support for this series.”
Released on June 25, 2026, Dead or Alive 6 Last Round is an enhanced current-generation version of the original 2019 fighting game. The release includes five previously available downloadable fighters, a new photo mode, and updated lighting improvements.
The game retains the franchise’s signature Triangle System, which revolves around the relationship between strikes, throws, and holds, while also featuring mechanics such as the Break Gauge and Fatal Rushes.
Dead or Alive 6 Last Round is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with Koei Tecmo confirming that additional updates and new content will continue to be released.
