Dead Space Remake Targeting 2023 Release, New Gameplay Footage Shared

Dead Space Remake was originally targeting a release window of 2022 but that has been pushed to 2023 according to a new update.

Motive Studios is working on this brand new remake for Dead Space which aims to reimagine the game. It has received a release window of early 2023 now. The developers continue to share small development updates for the game and have just confirmed that the target window for the release of this remake is early 2023.

Dead Space Remake will release on the current-generation consoles. It uses the Frostbite Engine that was previously used in games like Star Wars Battlefront 2, Star Wars Squadron, and Mass Effect Andromeda.

While the game is a complete remake retaining the character and story beats, special attention is being paid to improving the environment to make it scarier. The lighting looks beautiful in the new gameplay footage. Due to the focus on current-generation consoles, the game will feature no load times with a fast SSD and possibly add content that was cut due to technical constraints from the first game.
