Epic Games Store has been offering 16 games as part of its lengthy Holiday 2024 giveaway since December 12, and here is the game set to be offered for free on December 23.
Last year, we had covered the games that would be coming to the digital storefront during the Holiday giveaway before they were announced. A leaker known as MeguminShiro has revealed the title that will be offered to Epic Games Store for free on December 23, 2024. Those who’d like to grab the game should be mindful of the duration of its availability. The Epic Games Store is offering a total of 16 free games for the Holiday 2024 season, with 11 titles remaining.
December 23 Free Game On Epic Games Store
Based on the hints dropped by the aforementioned leaker, the freebie being offered on December 23, 2024, on the Epic Games Store is the Legendary Status DLC for Dark and Darker. The DLC upgrades a free ‘Squire’ account to ‘Legendary’ status, granting access to an array of exclusive features. With this upgrade, players can challenge themselves in the High-Roller Dungeons, where tougher enemies promise better loot.
The account also gains eight additional character slots, allowing users to experiment with various classes and playstyles without being restricted to just one character. Furthermore, ‘Legendary’ status unlocks the ability to sell items on the Marketplace and access the Trading Post, though these trading privileges activate 72 hours after the upgrade. Players also benefit from a shared stash, providing extra storage and making it easier to transfer items between characters. Additionally, the Triumph Boost offers a 50% increase in Triumph Experience for each successful dungeon extraction, helping players accumulate Bluestone Shards to unlock exclusive cosmetics.
For the uninitiated, Dark and Darker is a brutal and immersive hardcore fantasy first-person shooter that combines dungeon crawling with intense PvPvE action. Players team up with friends and rely on their strategy and tactics to uncover legendary treasures, vanquish terrifying monsters, and outmaneuver rival treasure hunters.
