Disney Plus Launch Technical Issues and Errors Reported by Users

Disney Plus users are reporting issues with access to the streaming service on its launch day. Some of the errors include “Unable to connect to Disney+” and more.

Disney Plus is arguably a big streaming platform as it brings the combined library from TV to movies of both Fox and Disney. It is already getting a headstart compared to Netflix which is still slowly building its original library and has to rely on licensed content.

Disney Plus has the best and biggest brands in the multimedia business which is giving it a big benefit, and as a result, there is a lot of hype behind the launch of the service today. You can download Disney+ app on iOS or Android and it is also available on consoles like PS4 and Xbox One.

Sadly, the launch of the Disney+ streaming platform is not without issues and some users have reported problems with streaming their favorite issues. One of the most common complaints is that they are facing an error informing them about the application unable to access the servers. It appears that the launch day viewers are perhaps a little too much for the current servers which is what is leading to this issue.

Since Disney+ is also offering many originals like Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian, it is no doubt frustrating the fans who want to watch this show as early as possible to avoid any spoilers that usually start to spread online.

One of the most frequent errors is “Unable to connect to Disney+. There seems to be an issue connecting to the Disney+ service. Please try again later if the issue persists.” There doesn’t seem to be a solution to it for now except being patient and trying to refresh and watch the content again by exiting and restarting the Disney+ app.

Even if you end up bypassing this issue, you might face another error that shows the message “Sorry something went wrong. Please try again later.” This error ends up with a black screen and just like Netflix, you have to restart the app and try again hoping it works this time.
