Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Is Rumored To Feature A Huge Roster, Including Characters From Original Series

Bandai Namco’s upcoming fighting game, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, is rumored to feature a huge roster, including characters from the original series.

Twitter use DbsHype, who is known for sharing Dragon Ball Z news, confirmed that Dragon Ball Sparking Zero will feature the biggest roster we’ve seen in a Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi title. They also mentioned that the game will include characters all the way from the original to Daima, the upcoming anime series.

In a followup tweet, the leaker shared a screenshot of their conversation with one of their contacts, in which they stated that the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero character roster will include Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Cell and Broly. They added that the gameplay and cutscenes are “crazy”.

On its official website, Bandai Namco Entertainment has stated that Dragon Ball Sparking Zero will feature an “incredible” number of playable characters, which is in line with what the leaker has said. However, we still urge our readers to take such leaks with a grain of salt until there is concrete evidence to support them.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero features an extensive lineup of playable characters, each equipped with unique abilities, transformations, and techniques. Players will engage in 3D battles faithful to the anime and video game series, with stunning visuals and authentic combat moves such as beam clashes, rush attacks, swift movements, and planet-razing ultimate attacks. Players will experience fast-paced battles in arenas that dynamically respond to their power, showcasing realistic reactions to transformations and powerful attacks. The game will immerse players in the action as the environment crumbles and reacts to the intense battle unfolding before them, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.

Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Spike Chunsoft officially announced Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam) during The Game Awards 2023. A release date was not announced, however.
