Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Announces 10th Anniversary Event

by Greg Martin

Bandai Namco has announced the Final Festival of Universes for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, celebrating the game’s 10th anniversary with returning items, special rewards, and bonuses that will carry over to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. The event begins on October 29, 2026, at 5 PM PDT.

During the festival, players can increase their camaraderie levels with characters who have accompanied them throughout the game, including Trunks, the Supreme Kai of Time, and Fu. Previously hard-to-obtain items will also return, while players will be able to earn 25 times the usual amount of Star Coins to exchange for rewards.

The event will also offer a new Gi designed for the celebration and a commemorative medal. Players who own either item will be able to unlock special items in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, depending on which reward they have, once the upcoming game launches in 2027. Players will need to link their Bandai Namco ID to access these bonuses.

Before the festival begins, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will receive a free update on October 27. The update adds new Login Bonus Rewards, special costumes, and an update to the Gallery of Time. Access to the Gallery of Time update requires the Future Saga Chapter 4 DLC.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 launched in 2016 and is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Bandai Namco has also released a 10th anniversary trailer to mark the occasion.

The Final Festival of Universes gives players a chance to earn commemorative rewards in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 ahead of the planned 2027 release of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.
