Dragon’s Dogma 2 Could Be Getting A Demo, Listing Found On Steam

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is likely to get a demo, as with most Capcom-published games. The demo was spotted on Steam.

SteamDB has a listing for a specific package related to Dragon’s Dogma 2. This has been marked as “Free On Demand” which has led to the speculation that this might be a potential demo for Dragon’s Dogma 2. It is one of the most likely outcomes since it is coming out as soon as next month, and Capcom is no stranger to offering demos for their games pre-release.

Capcom has a habit of releasing demos for their games before their official launch. They have released demos for almost every major game including for the remakes of classic Resident Evil games, and more recently for Exoprimal.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is primarily a single-player game with some online interactivity. In the game, players are accompanied by Pawns, mystical beings from another realm, who add to the gameplay dynamics and provide a multiplayer-like experience in a solo setting. This gameplay element was present in the first game as well, and the sequel has retained it.

The game’s story revolves around Arisen, whose heart is stolen by a dragon. Arisen is a fully customizable character depending on the choices made by the main player. There are a variety of jobs available to choose from for the game’s main character.

The system requirements for Dragon’s Dogma 2 were listed on the official Steam page. These requirements should also apply to the game demo. To play the game, you will need at least an Intel Core i5 10600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, along with 16 GB of RAM. Your graphics card should be equivalent to or better than NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT, with 8GB of VRAM.

The recommended system specifications suggest a demanding game. This includes an Intel Core i7-10700 or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X processor, with the same memory requirement of 16 GB RAM. For graphics, the game recommends using NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 or AMD Radeon RX 6700. Keep in mind that these requirements are related to running the game at 30 FPS.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be released on March 22, 2024, for the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
