Dragon’s Dogma 2 Release Date Has Appeared On Steam

The release date for Capcom’s forthcoming action role-playing game, Dragon’s Dogma 2, has appeared on Valve’s digital storefront, Steam.

The Steam store page for Dragon’s Dogma 2 has revealed its release date ahead of an official announcement. As per the details mentioned on the store page, the game set to arrive on store shelves on March 22, 2024.

Dragon's dogma 2 release date

This is not the first time this specific release date for Dragon’s Dogma 2 has emerged online. The Pan-European Game Information (PEGI) rating system had also accidentally leaked March 22, 2024 as the release date for Dragon’s Dogma 2. The information was later pulled from PEGI’s website.

Previously, the official Twitter account of the General Authority of Media Regulation in Saudi Arabia revealed that it had rated Dragon’s Dogma 2 as suitable for ages 18 and above. This suggested that Capcom was close to announcing a release date for the title, possibly at 2023’s The Game Awards on December 7. They have also announced an event for November 28, which could reveal the release date.

The story of Dragon’s Dogma 2 begins in an underground gaol where the Dragon’s voice echoes in the fog of lost memories. It is a tale of the one who shall slay the Dragon and claim the throne. The game’s vocations give you the ability to approach combat the way you want. Additionally, the terrain you traverse and the enemies you encounter are said to be varied and rich, whether they’re suspension bridges teeming with enemies or unstable footholds leading to massive monsters. The world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 is crafted to encourage players to try different approaches. The characters and monsters you encounter, and the environments you explore are said to take full advantage of immersive physics, character AI, and modern graphics.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the sequel to Dragon’s Dogma, an action role-playing hack-and-slash game developed and published by Capcom for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2012. Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, an upgraded version of the game, was published in 2013 for the game’s original platforms and was later ported to Microsoft Windows in 2016, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017.
