Dragon’s Dogma 2 Update 1.050 Drops Today With New Game Save Option and More

Capcom has released update 1.050 for Dragon’s Dogma 2 today bringing the choice to start a new save and adding various other features.

The latest patch for Dragon’s Dogma 2, Update 1.05, brings various improvements and enhancements for players on PlayStation 5 and Steam. One important addition is the option to start a new game even if save data already exists, and there’s also an increase in the availability of “Art of Metamorphosis” items at Pawn Guilds, now capped at 99. Additionally, the update makes a quest available earlier in the game that allows players to acquire their own dwelling for saving and resting. The patch also addresses text display issues and bugs to streamline the gameplay experience.

For PlayStation 5 players, the update allows more customization options, including the ability to toggle Motion Blur and Ray Tracing on or off and set the Frame Rate to a maximum of 30fps. These features provide flexibility for players to optimize their visual experience. Steam users will benefit from improved quality when DLSS SUPER RESOLUTION is enabled, along with a fix for a display issue related to specific settings.
