EA Hints at a Fight Night Comeback With Boxing Gloves Teaser

Electronic Arts has teased a possible return for its Fight Night boxing game franchise, sharing an image of two boxing gloves on social media alongside the caption, “The fight is never over.” The post hints at a revival.

The teaser comes more than a decade after the release of Fight Night Champion, the most recent mainline entry in the franchise. Released in 2011, the game introduced Champion Mode, a story-driven campaign following fictional boxer Andre Bishop through his career and personal struggles.

The Fight Night series became known for its Total Punch Control system, which used the analogue sticks to control punches and defensive movements. Its emphasis on realistic boxing mechanics, physics-based movement, and visible damage helped establish it as a prominent boxing simulation franchise.

EA Vancouver was primarily responsible for developing the series, with Electronic Arts publishing the games under its EA Sports brand. The franchise featured professional boxers and recognisable boxing venues throughout its history.
