EA Sports FC 27 version 1.0.4 is releasing soon with fixes for Ultimate Team, The Grounds, Career Mode, and general stability issues. The update also makes several Career Mode adjustments, including reducing the number of high-rated and high-potential players generated in Manager Career.
There are no gameplay balance or tuning changes in this update. Career Mode also receives fixes for transfer negotiations, Free Agent signings, Live Start Points, and the Liga MX season schedule.
Patch Notes
Ultimate Team
- Fixed an issue where a Service Unavailable error could appear after completing a match in certain FUT modes.
- Fixed an issue where players could see Hyper Cosmetic variants of base items when opening certain Player Picks.
- Base items are not intended to have these holographic visual variants.
The Grounds
- Fixed an issue where viewing the active club from the Player Profile could cause a loading screen that required restarting the game.
- Fixed instances of incorrect post-match UI flow.
Career Mode
Adjustments
- Reduced the number of High OVR or High Potential players that could be generated in Manager Career.
- Updated Manager Career negotiations so that offering a transfer fee significantly higher than a club’s requested price will still trigger a response rather than immediately accepting the bid.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where players could be unable to sign Free Agents if the transfer market was disabled or they were outside an active transfer window.
- Fixed an issue where the CPU could respond with counteroffers that incorrectly exceeded originally demanded or guaranteed fees during Manager Career negotiations.
- Fixed a stability issue that could occur when selecting certain teams in Live Start Points.
- Fixed an issue where the Liga MX season restarted in May instead of the intended mid-January.
General, Audio, and Visual
Adjustments
- PS5: Updated some Player Indicator colours.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue in FC Lite where unintended teams could appear when randomising teams in Kick-Off.
- Fixed various stability issues.
EA Sports FC 27 was released worldwide on September 25, 2026, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It was developed jointly by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and published by EA Sports.
