As for the new weapons, it has been revealed that Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree will add around 100 of them for players to discover. This isn’t just limited to new weapons within the weapon type categories available in the base game, however. Players can also discover eight brand-new weapon types. FromSoftware has yet to reveal details on many of these weapon types, though one that was available to try out is the Martial Arts category. This new weapon type allows players to engage in combat bare-handed, as the Tarnished One gains the ability to dish out heavy punches and kicks into their enemies.

The hands-on session featured access to 2 main bosses. The first, the Devine Beast Dancing Lion, is found in Belurat Tower Settlement. The beast is fairly agile in its movement, and can use a mix of elemental and physical abilities to deal damage to your character. The second boss is the magic-wielding Twin Moon Knight, one of the guardians of Castle Ensis, who can perform an AoE attack that unleashes magic blasts upon the entire area. The boss can also use a combination of pyro and glintstone-infused blades to attack the player.
