Final Fantasy 7 Remake Weapons Expert Trophy and How To Get It

Final Fantasy 7 Remake has a rather moderate to a difficult platinum trophy. One of the trophies is for Weapons Expert. Here’s how you can get it.

In Final Fantasy 7 Remake if you want to learn a weapon’s ability it’s proficiency must be 100%. You can see this bar on the weapon menu.

If you want to increase the weapon’s proficiency, you will have to use the weapon’s specific ability in a battle. Check what the is the main ability of the weapon you are using and then in a battle Press (x)>Abilities> and then use the particular ability. All the abilities of your weapon will level up differently, if you will use the particular ability in a battle it will increase by 10%. So use the same ability multiple times in the same battle to increase its proficiency level to maximum.

Following is the list of all the weapons and where to find them.

Cloud:

Buster Sword – (Focused Thrash)

It’s the first weapon Cloud will have from the start of the game.

Iron Blade – (Triple Slash)

This Weapon will be available in Chapter 3. You will get this weapon while going through the story.

Nail Bat – (Disorder)

This weapon will be available in Chapter 8 . You will get this weapon after you complete a Sidequest ” Kids on Patrol”.

Hardedge – (Infinity’s End)

This weapon will be available in Chapter 9. You can purchase it from the Weapon shop vendor in Wall Market.

Mythril Saber – (Blade Burst)

This weapon will be available in Chapter 14 of the game. You can purchase it from the weapon shop in Wall Market.

Twin Stinger – (Counterstance)

This Weapon will be available in Chapter 17. It is hidden inside a purple chest after you defeat the enemies and cross some pods in chapter 17 with the help of Red XIII you will find it near the staircase inside the Purple Chest.

Tifa :

Leather Gloves – (DiveKick)

It’s the first Weapon Tifa will have by default.

Metal Knuckles – (Overpower)

This weapon will be available in Chapter 5 of the game while going through the story.

Sonic Strikers – (Focused Strike)

This weapon will be available in Chapter 7. You will find this weapon inside a Purple Chest in Mako Reactor 5 -B5 Connecting Passageway.

Feather Gloves – (Starshower)

This weapon will be available in Chapter 10, you will find it in the area where the water has been drained inside a Purple chest.

Mythril Claws – (Chi Trap)

This weapon will be available in Chapter 13. You will get this weapon while going through the story.

Purple Pain – (True Strike)

This Weapon will be available in Chapter 16 of the game. You will find this weapon in the lobby of Shinra Tower. While playing with Tifa you will have to reach the reception in Shinra Tower. This weapon is a bit tricky to get so try to get to the ladder you will fall at some point but don’t lose hope try again and when you reach the ladder don’t climb it, instead head toward the bar on the right-hand side, there you will see a purple chest which will have the weapon inside it.

Barret :

Gattling Gun – (Focused Shot)

Barret will have this weapon from the start.

Light Machine Gun – (Lifesaver)

This Weapon will be available in chapter 6. You will get this weapon while going through the story

Big Bertha – (Maximum Fury)

This Weapon will be available in Chapter 13. you can purchase this weapon from the Weapon Shop Vendor in Evergreen Park.

Steel Pincers – (Charging Uppercut)

This Weapon will be available in Chapter 14. you can purchase this weapon from the Moogle Emporium

Wrecking Ball – (Smackdown)

This Weapon will be available in Chapter 14. You will get this weapon after completing the Side Quest ( Subterranean Menace ) as a reward.

EKG Cannon – (Point Blank)

This Weapon will be available in Chapter 16. You will get this weapon by talking to the Mayor after that go back outside and then talk with Hart. He will give you the weapon as a reward in exchange for 10,000 gills.

Aerith :

Guard Stick – (Arcane Ward)

Aerith Will have this weapon from the Start.

Silver Staff – (Sorcerous Storm)

This weapon will be available in Chapter 8. You can purchase it from the Moogle Emporium.

Arcane Scepter – (Fleeting Familiar)

This Weapon will be available in chapter 9. To get this weapon you will have to complete the Side Quests “A Dynamite Body ” Or ” Shears Counterattack ” as a reward.

Mythril Rod – (Ray of Judgment)

This Weapon will be available in Chapter 11. You will get this weapon at almost the start of Chapter 11. It will be inside a Purple Chest in a room which will be on the other side where the Starting Vending Machines and benches are.

Bladed Staff – (Lustrous Shield)

This Weapon will be available in Chapter 11. To get this Weapon you will need Steel Materia, this weapon is a little bit tricky to get. You will have to use “Steal” on boss Eligor to get your hands on this weapon, you will fail many times to steal this accessory but keep trying and you must have Steal Materia before you start this battle.

Reinforced Staff – (ATB Ward)

This Weapon will be available in Chapter 17. You will find it at the Start of Chapter 17 it will be in plain Sight hidden inside a Purple Chest.
