Nintendo has announced the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Expansion Pass, a paid DLC package for the Nintendo Switch 2 game that will introduce new weapons, playable characters, costumes, and story content across three waves through 2027. The first wave is available today, with the remaining content scheduled for Holiday 2026 and sometime in 2027.

According to Nintendo of America, the first wave adds weapons inspired by the Hero’s Relics from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Cai receives Dimitri’s spear, Theodora gets Claude’s bow, Dietrich gains Byleth’s sword, and Leda receives Edelgard’s axe.

The second wave is scheduled for Holiday 2026 and will introduce new costumes for each of the four Flame Lords. It will also add Aurora, Jurah, and Smyrnos as playable units.

The third wave, planned for 2027, will feature a new story centred on Bertrand, Taimun, Orchel, and Anatolia. Nintendo also confirmed that this update will include new allies, classes, and additional content.

The Expansion Pass is available now through the Nintendo eShop. Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave launched for Nintendo Switch 2 on September 17, 2026, and is developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo.
