Xbox has unveiled a new line of limited edition accessories inspired by Forza Horizon 6, including a specially designed wireless controller and matching headset. The announcement comes as the upcoming racing title prepares to take players to a Japan-themed Horizon Festival setting.
The Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller features a distinctive visual design built around a transparent cyan shell with a metallic gradient finish. It incorporates bright accents in volt green, hot pink, and silver, alongside a metallic D-pad and textured rubber grips. The design draws inspiration from Japan’s mountain roads, commonly associated with drifting culture, reflecting the game’s setting and themes. The controller offers up to 40 hours of battery life and includes a 3.5 mm audio jack for headset connectivity.
Alongside the controller, Xbox is introducing a Limited Edition wireless headset with a matching color scheme and thematic detailing. The headset includes custom sound effects tied to system actions such as powering on, pairing, and muting, blending elements of engine audio with the game’s interface sounds. It also supports spatial audio technologies including Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone X, with Bluetooth LE Audio support enabling use across a range of compatible devices.
Both accessories are designed for broad compatibility, supporting Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and mobile platforms through Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. The headset provides up to 20 hours of battery life, while the controller maintains its extended usage range without requiring additional accessories such as dongles.
Pre-orders for the Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition controller and headset are now available, priced at $89.99 and $134.99 respectively. In addition, an officially licensed charging dock created in collaboration with 8BitDo has been announced, offering magnetic alignment and a full recharge time of approximately 3 hours.
The new accessories are positioned as part of the broader Forza Horizon 6 rollout, offering themed hardware for players ahead of the game’s release.
