Here Are The Games Coming To & Leaving Xbox Game Pass By End Of May 2023

The list of games coming to and leaving Microsoft’s premium game subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, by the end of the month of May, 2023 have been revealed. The subscription service is ending the month with plenty of games for fans to look forward to.

The new games to be added to the service this month include Massive Chalice, Railway Empire 2, Cassette Beats, Ghostlore, Chicory: A Colorful Tale, FIFA 23, Planet of Lana, and more.

The full list of Xbox Game Pass Games for wave 2 of May, 2023 are as follows:

  • FIFA 23 (Console and PC) – Available today
  • Eastern Exorcist (Console and PC) – May 18
  • Ghostlore (Console) – May 18
  • Planet of Lana (Console and PC) – May 23
  • Cassette Beasts (Console) – May 25
  • Massive Chalice (Cloud and Console) – May 25
  • Railway Empire 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – May 25
  • Chicory: A Colorful Tale (Console and PC) – May 30

Prominently featured among the latest additions to the Xbox Game Pass catalogue is Chicory: A Colorful Tale, an adventure game developed by Greg Lobanov and published by Finji. It was released in June 2021 for Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, and in December 2021 for Nintendo Switch. The game stars an anthropomorphic dog with a magical paintbrush that colors the game world. Critics praised its innovative gameplay and uplifting themes.
