Gears 5 is out today for PC and Xbox One if you have the Ultimate Edition. Some of the collectibles of the game might not register, here’s why this happening in the game.
Gears 5 early access is available now for users on both PC and Xbox One. One of the bugs that have been reported by the players is that collectibles don’t register when they find them. Fortunately, this is not a major bug as expected and it can be solved.
If you are playing the game, collectibles are available in almost every chapter. The game divides the number of collectibles by act and tells you how many are left. This helps the player keep an eye out for them.
One of the issues that seem to have been reported by multiple users is that collectibles for Gears 5 are not registering properly. This can be noticed if you go back to an early chapter and find out that the number of collectibles is lower. This appears to be a bug but it is not as major or irreversible which is a good thing.
As reported by the community manager of The Coalition, this bug is related to the stats service for Gears 5, which is slowly being restored. Once it is completed, the number of registered collectibles will go back to their actual amount. There is nothing that can be done here by the player so you can wait until the servers are restored.
