GTA 6 Potentially Teased by Rockstar Games In The Strangest Way

GTA 6 could be teased in a new promotional video for the upcoming heist in GTAV. Fans have uncovered coordinates to something strange in the video.

Fans have been waiting for a long time to get any news for a new GTA game from Rockstar Games. The company has only released two major games in the last generation–technically only one if you don’t count the re-release of GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One. The other one being Red Dead Redemption 2.

GTA V was confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X with a next-generation upgrade planned to arrive in early 2021. The same is being rumored for Red Dead Redemption 2, but there is nothing official on that front from Rockstar Games.

While fans are hyped to know more about the new projects at Rockstar Games, the developers have announced a major heist update for the current-generation console and PC. There is no release date given for this upcoming heist but the teasers so far have suggested that it will take place in an entirely new location, which is a first for GTA Online.

In one of the latest teasers for GTA Online, there are coordinates “38.527,-79.6129” which just pops up randomly in the video. If we google these coordinates, we get Middle Mountain Trail, right on the border between Virginia and West Virginia. If we zoom out from this location, the roads can be seen forming a V and I shape thus leading to a VI.

It is also possible that this teaser is related to the new heist for GTA Online. Rockstar Games did start working on a next-generation project after the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, and a new GTA takes a long time in pre-production so if the game has to release this generation, it might be finally time to start drumming up hype for it.

Some fans are theorizing that this new heist can be connected to GTA 6 reveal, acting as a new prologue that will introduce the world of the upcoming GTA. This can’t be as far-fetched considering how Activision opted to reveal Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in their free-to-play battle royale game, Warzone. It is also a good way to get more fans to play GTA Online, provided Rockstar Games opt to do the same.
