Pre-loads for GTA Online The Kortz Center Heist update are now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S ahead of the DLC’s release.
The download is 1.9 GB on PS5, while the Xbox Series X|S version is significantly larger at 5.11 GB.
The difference in file size prompted questions from players on social media. Responding to one user, content creator ben (@videotech) said, “I believe PS5 has the ability to patch existing game files without directly replacing the entire file.”
He also confirmed that the download is for “GTA Online’s upcoming Heist update for Tuesday.”
In another reply, ben noted, “Yes, this is also the first time Xbox users can pre-download a GTA Online update.”
The Kortz Center Heist introduces a new art-focused robbery centred on Los Santos’ prestigious Kortz Center. Players will need to expand their Mansions with an Art Studio and recruit a master counterfeiter before carrying out the operation under the guidance of Mr. Faber and fixer Raf De Angelis. The heist focuses on stealth, allowing crews to steal valuable paintings and other high-value exhibits while avoiding damage that could reduce their final payout.
